Windows Bootable with Rufus
At this opportunity I will not discuss PC assemblies.
So now I will enter a series about installing Windows OS on our own assembled PC or on our portable devices in some future series.
Before entering the series I will share first how to use your flashdisk to be Bootable Windows with the Rufus application.
Because not everyone has a ROOM DVD / CD / CD RW on their PC or Laptop.
So it's the Flashdisk that we will use to make it simpler when installing the Windows OS.
The use of a bootable USB flash drive will be very useful for a technician.
Besides being faster in the installation process compared to CD / DVD.
One way to make a flashdisk bootable is to use RUFUS.
Rufus is a utility that helps to format and make USB flash devices bootable, such as flash drives, memory cards, and others.
Rufus supports the creation of bootable USB for many operating systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
Some of the uses of this rufus software:
- Make USB installation media from a bootable ISO (Windows, Linux, UEFI and others).
- Helps you who need to work on systems that don't have an OS installed.
- Helps you who need to flash BIOS or other firmware from DOS.
- Rufus has a very small file size but provides all the facilities you need.
- This rufus software works very fast, for example rufus is about twice as fast as other software such as UNetbootin.
